Mab Gwalia - Building a Movement for Social Change

Mab Gwalia is a Welsh social change movement created by Michael Sheen to fund community projects across Wales, I worked in partnership with Working Word and Daz Watkinz, leading creative direction to develop a design system that could represent their mission—”Life works better when we work together” whilst showcasing the diverse causes they support.

I designed a component-based system that balanced inspiring movement-building messaging with practical project storytelling, creating a flexible framework that could grow with the organisation whilst maintaining clarity and emotional connection. The system provided a strong, unified identity that positioned Mab Gwalia as both a credible funding body and an accessible community resource.
